The difference between PE/PEX and PEW

1. Crushing cavity shap

Common PE/PEX jaw crusher: semi V-shaped crushing cavity
European PEW jaw crusher : V-shaped crushing cavity
The V-shaped cavity structure makes the actual feed inlet width consistent with the nominal feed inlet width, and it is easier to discharge. Relatively speaking, it is not easy to block and jump. The deeper crushing cavity has no dead zone and higher crushing efficiency.

3. Adjustment mode

Common PE/PEX jaw crusher: shim adjustment
European PEW jaw crusher: wedge adjustment
A group of gaskets with equal thickness are placed between the adjusting seat and the rear wall of the frame. By increasing or reducing the number of gasket layers, the ore discharge port of the crusher is reduced or increased. This method can be adjusted at multiple levels. The machine structure is relatively compact and reduces the weight of the equipment, but it must be stopped during adjustment.
The European version jaw crusher adopts wedge adjustment, and the adjustment of the discharge port of the crusher is realized by the relative movement of the two wedges between the adjustment seat and the rear wall of the frame. The front wedge can be moved back and forth and is integrated with the elbow seat to form an adjustment seat; The rear wedge is an adjusting wedge, which can move up and down. The inclined planes of the two wedges fit upside down. The screw moves the rear wedge up and down to adjust the size of the discharge port.

4. Fixing method of bearing pedestal

Common PE/PEX jaw crusher: welding. The connection mode between bearing seat and frame is welding, with short service life.
European PEW jaw crusher: the bolt and bearing seat are of integral cast steel structure, which are connected with the frame with bolts to ensure the complete cooperation between the two, greatly enhance the radial strength of the bearing seat and prolong the service life.

5. Jaw plate structure

For large jaw fractures (such as 900 * 1200 and above), the dynamic and fixed jaw plates are divided into three, while for small and medium-sized jaw fractures, there is usually only one jaw plate.
The size of the jaw plate is smaller in the middle and larger in the upper and lower parts. There is also a wedge on it, which is called fixed wedge or fixed pressing iron. The jaw plate is fixed on the middle jaw plate and pressing iron by bolts.
For ordinary jaw plate and European jaw plate, integral or segmented jaw plate can be selected according to the size of equipment model.

6. Jaw and guard shapes

Common PE/PEX jaw crusher: flat type
European PEW jaw crusher: tooth shape
The ordinary jaw breaking guard (above the jaw plate) is planar, while the European version adopts toothed guard, which can also participate in crushing when crushing materials. Compared with the planar guard, it increases the effective length of the jaw plate and improves the crushing efficiency.
The toothed jaw plate can give materials more crushing stress direction, which is conducive to faster crushing of materials, higher crushing efficiency, and control the particle shape of products.
Many people will be tangled when choosing whether conventional jaw crusher or European jaw crusher is good? The former has certain advantages in price and is cheap. It is suitable for production lines with low investment and low production requirements. For large-scale, high-yield, environmental protection and energy-saving production lines, the European version has higher efficiency, more convenient operation and maintenance and more environmental protection.
